Solar pumping systems are gaining popularity due to their wide range of applications. They can be used for daily underground water, agriculture irrigation, forestry irrigation, desert control, pasture animal husbandry, water supply for islands, waste water treatment engineering and more. This technology utilizes new energy resources and is increasingly being used in municipal engineering, city center squares, parks, tourist sites, resorts, hotels, landscapes, and fountain systems in residential areas.

The solar pumping system consists of a solar array, a pump, and a solar pumping inverter or GPRS remote control model. The system is designed based on the philosophy that it is better to store water than electricity. Therefore, the system does not include an energy storing device such as a store battery.

The solar array is a collection of multiple solar modules connected in series and parallel. Its function is to absorb sunlight radiation and convert it into electrical energy to provide dynamic water for the entire system. The pump inverter controls and adjusts the system's operation by converting the DC produced by the solar array into AC to drive the pump and adjusting the output frequency in real-time according to the variation of sunlight intensity to realize the maximum power point tracking (MPPT).

The pump uses a three-phase AC motor to draw water from deep wells or rivers and lakes. This water can then be poured into storage tanks or reservoirs or directly connected to irrigation systems, fountain systems, etc. Depending on the required system demand and installation conditions, different types of pumps such as centrifugal pumps, axial flow pumps, mixed-flow pumps, or deepwell pumps can be used.
